Further to technical and technological developments we recently finished the installation of our new Z/API+ASA fully automatic zig-zag machine.
This high production model is the top amongst the range of our zig-zag machine with perforation and it can produce cotton wool bags from 50 gr. up to 500 gr. of several dimension.

Multi-format options, various perforation heights, servo controlled perforation group and pusher, sealing of the bag with gussets are only some of the peculiarities of this new generation of machines. 
The software development realized with Siemens enables us to reach, without any problems, the average speed of 30 bags per minute with high stability in quality of the finished products.

Interesting option like our electronic weight control permit us to work directly connected to the cards line having an high stability in weight of the packages even when working with old cards line.
Our Infra-Red weight control can guarantee an high accuracy in weight and can give you 90% of the production within a range of +/- 2% of the nominal weight.

With the beginning of the new year we would like to share information with our customers concerning the forthcoming developments in cotton pads machines especially as regards the NO Waste series.
We are realizing the prototype machine for cutting and packing rectangular pads suitable as DEMO model for trials.

The idea comes from the big request for such machines from far east but, as difference from the past, now the demand is for fully automatic solutions.
Our first step will be to build and test the cutting machine with the first part of the packing unit.
The cutting technology will be realized with scissor system in order to maintain the edges of the pads completely open.
The packing unit will be realized according to our experience in rectangular perforated pads where we got positive feedback from the market during the last 3 years.

As second step, we will build a rotary cutting unit for the production of rectangular pads of big dimension, for baby use.
The standard pads 90x110 mm. with round angles produced by punching system will be replaced by pads 90x100 with 90 degree angles.
The package will be the same, the material will be the same, the pads area will be the same, the production most probably will increase due to the cutting technology but the waste will be ZERO instead of 18-20% as usual on the punching machines.
The exterior aspect of the bags is exactly the same because you cannot see if the pads has the round angles or not when the pads are into the bag.

So, the question is:

Why spending more to have less??

we recently developed an innovative and cheap solution to automate the cotton rolls production using the web you produce with your existing cards which use the drums installed in front of them.

With a special device we can join these webs and then, without other worker operation, we weight the material and roll it up.

This small and economical model is the little sister of the DLx series but has the new interesting features that are applied to all of our bigger pads machines.

Multi-format options, stitched edges on the pads, servo controlled advancing step of the material and mechanical pads ejection after cutting are only some of the peculiarities of this new generation.

The software development realized in co-operation with Siemens enables us to reach, without any problems, the cutting speed of 300 strokes per minute increasing a lot the productivity of the machines.
